Nada Rizk
Nada Rizk is a Lebanese Finnish artist working mainly in ceramics and bronze. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from the London School of Economics and International Relations (LSE) and a Bachelor of Arts from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA). Nada spent 4 years at Alba working with different media with a special focus on ceramics. She worked with the late, renowned Samir Muller, ceramist and teacher, when she learned and practiced different ceramic sculpture techniques including hand-built ceramics, wheel building, glazing, engobes, oxides, and composition. She has also participated in different ceramic and sculpture workshops abroad, most namely with the renowned English ceramic artist and teacher Mary-Jane Evans. Nada has widely exhibited her ceramic works in many art exhibitions in Lebanon and abroad namely at Art on 56th, the Beirut Art Fair, Beirut Design Fair in Lebanon, as well as at Laterna Magica in Helsinki, Palazzo Priuli in Venice, Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
